TYRA beauty is looking for a creative individual to fill the Social Media Coordinator position. You must be a strong writer who can capture and express our brand voice on social media, which is nothing less than fierce, and help us grow our online crew. JOB SUMMARY:

This coordinator is responsible for executing and managing TYRA beauty’s social media presence. This position requires an innovative and entrepreneurial approach that achieves and exceeds the company’s short- and long-term strategic goals and objectives. It also requires an individual with a strong understanding of best practices and emerging trends within the digital/social space. The person in this position will report directly to the Director of Marketing, while working closely with all team members, company affiliates and agents. CEO will also be actively posting so a collaborative nature is a must.

 

This person will assist in ensuring that TYRA beauty optimizes social media and other emerging digital technology to create brand stickiness and to build a global online community of followers and users of its products and services. In addition, the coordinator will be monitoring the company’s social performance and constantly driving it towards success (success being measured by growth and engagement). This role requires passion, strong copy-writing skills, strategic thinking and creativity. Knowledge of social media conversion and campaign metrics is a must.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

Social Media Implementation

  • Implement the integrated Social Media Plan while assisting in coordinating all press requests such as appearances, tune-in alerts and promotion surrounding specific projects.

Social Media Management

  • Lead the daily promotion of TYRA beauty in the digital and social media world, including, but not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Sina Weibo, Tencent, Pinterest, Flixel, etc.
  • Manage the social media calendar, insuring that assets are created in a timely manner and that the calendar remains up-to-date
  • Work with Director of Marketing to establish metrics for success. Review, report and analyze conversion, engagement metrics and use campaign performance to optimize social media strategy as necessary to maximize results.
  • Create campaigns, challenges, contests and promotions that will grow our social media following, community engagement and email database
  • Drive growth of our digital audiences by making our content as engaging and sharable as possible: get people yapping about us.
  • Implement best practices across each social channel. Fluent in all social platforms and understand what type of content is most engaging, relevant and effective for each channel.
  • Work with the digital team to ensure that the TYRA beauty website content is encouraging stickiness to increase site visits, page depth and time on site

Digital Technology Research and Application

  • Identify and stay ahead of emerging trends in social media, games, mobile applications and other software and hardware technologies and its usage. When appropriate, assist to launch the Company’s presence on the platform.
  • Manage the Company’s global digital community in a professional manner that is innovative, responsive and on-brand

Research and Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist in research when necessary for current and future TYRA beauty related projects and endeavors

 

Prior Work Experience & Education Requirements: Between 1 and 3 years of full-time work experience managing Social Media. Must have a Bachelors of Arts/Science from a competitively ranked four-year University with relevant Social Media Courses

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a new position that will oversee the accounting, financial reporting and analysis for the Company. If selected, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a team that is instrumental in a wide variety of financial activity and facilitate the information flow for key decisions. This role has the potential to grow into the position of Controller for TYRA beauty. You will be a member of the TYRA beauty Leadership Team. Your decisions will impact a broad audience (internally and externally) from financial and reputational.
You will work within a broad framework established by the CEO and General Manager and will have freedom to act within this framework yet must be an effective part of the leadership team. This person will also have frequent contact and to some extent be responsible for managing the relationships with a number of our outside partners including our commissions engine, analytics consultants as well as our legal and accounting firms.

The role of Senior Director, Assistant Controller at our Company involves a series of complex tasks and activities that vary from those that are strategic and policy-defining to those that are day-to-day and tactical. This role requires a broad range of skills and diversity of knowledge. A successful Senior Director, Assistant Controller can: (i) provide creative problem definition & analysis and develop complex solutions (ii) initiate and execute tasks with no guidance or procedures (iii) create efficient process disciplines and identify improvements to existing ones, and (iv) manage diverse projects that vary in responsibilities and context.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Prepare the monthly accounting close and financial reporting deliverables; including but not limited to, internal business reports for sales, earnings, recruiting, expenses and cash flow.
    • Upon hire, your responsibility will be to manage accounts payable and payroll. Overtime, your responsibility will be to recruit and manage an internal accounting team.
    • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Lead the facilitation and execution of financial forecasts.
    • Prepare budgets, establish schedules, reconcile with actuals, analyze variances, recommend plans
  • Manage relationships with outside partners including accounting & HR.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure operation of HQ equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Ensure that key internal controls and accounting procedures are functioning properly and are in compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate and oversee financial audits.
  • Actively stay abreast of new regulation and accounting pronouncements to ensure the Company maintains compliant procedures.
  • Act as the liaison and coordinate necessary communication between finance, accounting and the parent company, The Tyra Banks Company.

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a new position that will oversee end-to-end human resources for the Company with the goal of creating programs, process, atypical events, and unique traditions that reinforce our cultural values, mission and vision. The role will be a combination of supporting day to day people activities including recruiting, onboarding and coordinating general benefit and policy questions as well as contributing to strategic HR work and HR initiatives including, organizational structure and design, talent assessment, employee relations and risk mitigation.
